A beautiful golf course in a beautiful area, Graeagle Meadows is an open, pristine course surrounded by alpine mountains in northern California.

Like most courses, however, security is important. Not only at the pro shop, bar and restaurant but also out at the maintenance shop which is located approximately 1,500 feet away. Not exactly practical to run an Ethernet line that far and much too far for WiFi.

So we installed a 5 GHz wireless link between the two sites using Ubiquity transceivers and then completed the job with Q-See 4 MP bullet cameras. Q-See not only supplies great hardware and software, but their support is outstanding and helped every step of the way. In fact, Q-See and LiveSmart Technologies have built a solid business relationship for installations in both Southern and Northern California homes and businesses.

The completed project brings a unified view of all cameras – both at the clubhouse and the maintenance shop together “under one roof” of the Q-See software. Oh, and by the way, this also brings full Internet service to that maintenance building as well – without monthly fees.
